WELCOME

Welcome aboard the Kindercentrum. You complete our team.
Together, we are committed to making children and parents feel welcome every day.
We have one common goal: to organize high-quality child care.

We outline an induction process that ensures a new employee feels welcome and at home in our organization as soon as possible.

A warm welcome, therefore, as the first introduction to the caring organization that Kindercentrum aims to be. We invite you to show who you are and what you’re capable of. Your talent, your ideas, your dedication, your concerns, your uniqueness, your differences… It’s all welcome!

“Together” is important in Kindercentrum. Everyone’s contribution matters! Only together can we accomplish our important mission.

We invite everyone to contribute to strong collegial relationships and close-knit teams.

We foster a sense of togetherness at the organizational level through various means: bringing employees together digitally and physically across different locations.

Together for "care"
Every day, we care for children and parents with dedication, and we also take care of each other by asking "How are you?", by lending a hand, by engaging in difficult conversations, and by setting our own boundaries.

Being caring means engaging with care on a daily basis. It means communicating openly and connecting with parents, children, colleagues and supervisors.

Being caring involves recognizing and appreciating talent, dedication and differences among people. We seek opportunities, possibilities and enrichment beyond obstacles or limitations.

Our team coaches support and encourage well-being within their teams. Actively listening, picking up on signals and promoting dialogue are important elements for fostering a caring team.

Kindercentrum creates a good work environment for its employees and provides the necessary resources. Physical safety and the ability to work ergonomically are guiding principles. When Kindercentrum utilizes third-party facilities, it will emphasize these principles in the collaboration.
 

CO-CREATING

Together, we make Kindercentrum an interesting play and living environment for children. You contribute to this every day! We believe in your competences and talents!

Based on this belief in its employees, Kindercentrum provides room for autonomy to its staff to shape the tasks entrusted to them. The coordination and collaboration within your team contribute to guiding this autonomy and achieving the final outcome.

Everyone is an expert and responsible for their own tasks, understands the challenges and obstacles, and sees possibilities for solutions or improvements. If you have ideas or see opportunities for improvement, bring them up within your team or discuss them with your team coach; together, we can continue to create and improve.

We encourage you to contribute from your talents, the areas where you excel, because we believe that this leads to passion and enthusiasm. Through project work, we promote interdepartmental and cross-domain collaboration. In this way, Kindercentrum creates space for initiative and fosters stronger engagement among employees across different areas.

RELIABILITY

Being reliable is essential for every employee and for the Kindercentrum as an organization.
Being reliable for children is a fundamental requirement for their well-being and smooth development. Parents entrust their children to our care on a daily basis. This demands that every employee demonstrates a reliable, transparent, and supportive attitude.

Kindercentrum also aims to be a reliable employer for its employees.

We achieve this by communicating in a prompt, clear and transparent manner. We establish clear lines of communication and provide clarity regarding decisions made. Whenever feasible and appropriate, we involve employees in the decision-making process.

Being reliable means saying what we do and doing what we say. We are honest and willing to show vulnerability. Being reliable and caring also means addressing conflicts openly, with a willingness to understand the perspective of others.
 

GROWTH

Growth is important for Kindercentrum. We guide and encourage children in their growth and development on a daily basis. Kindercentrum is a growing organization in a constantly changing landscape. This requires each employee to be open to change and have a continuous willingness to learn. Learning and growing are not easy; they require self-reflection. It also means trying, making mistakes, acknowledging them and learning from them..
