Hello dear parents! My name is Pascale. I have two daughters and two wonderful grandchildren. My youngest daughter shares my passion for working with children and is also a childcare worker. I believe it is important to teach children through play and to help them develop their social skills. I’m quite sporty myself: I enjoy walking, cycling, and going to the gym every week. I’m really looking forward to starting the new school year and getting to know many new faces!

I’m Griet, a childcare worker at BKO Biezeke. I love going out into the world to enjoy nature walks and discover new places and things. I also enjoy taking on challenges in the kitchen, organizing parties, being creative with the children, and playing the piano.

Hello, I’m Vera. I’ve been working with children for almost 40 years. In Belarus, I was a music teacher, kindergarten teacher, and Montessori educator. Since 2016, I’ve been working at Kindercentrum as a childcare worker at BKO.

I have many hobbies: music, knitting, sewing, crafting — and I also have a Labrador dog. I love playing, crafting, singing, and dancing with the children! I do my work with love, both for my profession and for the kids.

I previously worked for two years at the free primary school in Desselgem, but from now on I’ll be the new face here. I live in Waregem, and one of my biggest hobbies is babysitting. The most important things in my life are my loyal four-legged friend Roxy and my boyfriend Aaron. I love spending my free time with them and my friends. My hobbies include gaming, horse riding, pixel art, 3D printing, and playing with Roxy. You can also sometimes find me at flea markets with my boyfriend, searching through Pokémon (cards). 🙂

Hi there, I’m Griet, your regular childcare worker at BKO ’t Hemelke. Together with my husband and our two children, I live in Nieuwenhove.

I’ve been working at Kindercentrum since 2020. Because I enjoy working with children so much — watching them grow through play, seeing their honesty and unique view of the world, and all the humor that comes with it — I hope to continue doing this job for many years!

Children who stay for lunch at school will also see me there, as I help with lunchroom and playground supervision. I find it very important that children know they can always come to me if something is wrong.

Something fun to know about my life outside of work: I really enjoy expressing myself through my favorite music genres, Gothic and EBM.

I’m Luna, 21 years old. In my free time, I often go for walks with my dog or go shopping with my mom. I also really love traveling. Since the 2023–24 school year, I’ve been working in the after-school care at Nieuwenhove. I'm really looking forward to seeing the friends from VBS Nieuwenhove again!

Hey! I’m Laura, your regular childcare supervisor at BKO ‘t Hoveke.

Together with my partner, two stepchildren, and our son, I live in Nieuwenhove. Just as much as I love children, I also really like animals. We have a dog and a cat at home. As a family, we also enjoy doing fun things together: going for walks in nature or even a barefoot walk is right up our alley! After activity comes relaxation, and we love sitting on a cozy terrace with some tasty food.

Besides working at the childcare center, I also work as a cleaner and take great joy in keeping my clients’ houses tidy.

I’m looking forward to making it a fantastic year together with the children!

Some days can be tough, but what you get back is so valuable.

Besides my work as a childcare provider, I’m also a G-football coach. Football is my great passion, and I enjoy helping children grow both on the field and off.
